Both recitals will be held at
Merritt Island High School.

UDF does not charge a "recital fee" for our students, and tickets pay for the cost of the theater and expenses involved in producing our shows.
RECITAL COSTUMES are GORGEOUS!!
You are going to LOVE them!!
Each costume will require specific tights. Recital tights must be new, matching, and the required tights for your costume. UDF will post required tights and color for each dance at the studio. You will have the option to purchase them through UDF or on your own. However, no other tights will be permitted. Please be sure your dancer has the required shoe for their class as stated in our DRESS CODE policies.
HAIR:
ALL dancers hair for recital is a low bun (with hairnet) and a left side part. Dancers who are in Hip Hop ONLY, may wear a low pony tail with a left side part. There should not be any "fly-aways" and hair should be sprayed and slick. We recommend Freeze brand hair spray to tackle those pesky hair problems!
MAKE-UP:
ALL dancers will be required to wear stage make-up. The heavy stage lighting used on our professional show will completely wash out faces that do not have required make-up. In order for you to see your dancer and the videographer to capture your dancer, we require all students to adhere to our make-up policies. This consists of eye shadow (browns), eye liner (black), blush (red/pink), mascara (black), lipstick (red or pinkish, depending on age of dancer) and foundation that matches the dancers skin tone. More information will be forthcoming on appropriate application for each dancer.
